Job Summary
Deliver and assess accredited first aid courses while supporting diverse communities across urban, regional, and remote locations. Manage non-accredited training, kit and equipment stock control, and maintenance duties as needed. Travel across various venues in the greater Perth and Western Australia area, requiring reliable transport and a current Australian driver's licence. This role is covered by the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020, Level 9, with a salary from $79,020.24 FTE pro-rata plus superannuation and salary packaging. Candidates must hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Working with Children Check, and current first aid qualifications. Applications close Thursday, 20 August 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills across in-person and virtual delivery
- Engaging, professional training style
- Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative
- Well organised with strong time management and administration skills
- Confident using digital systems to support training delivery
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent
- Own reliable transport
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Current Working with Children Check
- Travel required across greater Perth / Western Australia locations
- Reliable transport is an essential requirement of the successful candidate
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering to a diverse range of clients
- Understanding of ASQA compliance requirements
- Current first aid qualifications (e.g. HLTAID011 or higher)
- Experience in wilderness, remote, or outdoor first aid settings
- Ability to deliver specialised or higher-level first aid training (highly regarded)
