Job Summary
Partner with Corporate Technology to modernize the finance data platform by defining requirements, developing roadmaps, and managing day-to-day project delivery through an Agile SDLC. Lead backlog refinement sessions to break epics into user stories, analyze customer needs using prioritization techniques, and deliver data services for onboarding, quality, governance, and distribution. Provide accurate reporting to stakeholders, identify process improvements, and support testing using various data analytics skills. Execute within a fast-paced environment managing large programs under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
- 8+ years of work experience in technology, data management, product management and/or finance; within the financial services industry
- Experience working on Cloud based Big-data implementation platforms and Products
- Strong understanding of Data Management concepts & processes - ETL/ELT process, data quality, governance, data catalog, versioning, and related topics
- Knowledge of and/or experience in data analysis using query languages (e.g. SQL)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
- Highly motivated with a proven track record for executing on large to small programs, often under pressure given short lead times or with little information / direction
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent team player with the ability to challenge, while at the same time being respected as a trusted partner
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and be an innovation driver
Desired Qualifications
- Finance, Transformations, and Forecasting product experience preferred
- Data analytics using Python
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and Data Bricks
- Experience using LLM/Gen-AI tools/models
- Agile Principles and tools such as Confluence/JIRA
- Some experience with other forecast aggregation tools such as Essbase/Atoti
