Job Summary
Data Platform Product Manager within the Financial Analysis team leads requirements, defines roadmaps, and partners with Technology to deliver a modern finance data platform. Duties include breaking Epics into user stories, refining backlogs, delivering on-time updates to stakeholders, driving data governance, data quality, and data distribution capabilities, and enabling timely data services through an Agile SDLC. Requires navigating cloud-based big-data platforms, ETL/ELT processes, data analysis with SQL, strong communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and technology partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
- 4+ years of work experience in technology, data management, product management and/or finance in financial services
- Experience with cloud-based Big-data platforms and products
- Strong understanding of Data Management concepts – ETL/ELT, data quality, governance, data catalog, versioning
- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to execute large to small programs under tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn new technologies and drive innovation
