Job Summary
Design, develop, and optimize OpenCPI components and applications for SIGINT and RF systems, integrating solutions onto FPGA-based and embedded SDR platforms. Create OpenCPI workers and containers in C/C++ and HDL, while integrating DSP chains into FPGA and embedded Linux environments. Conduct trade-off analysis across performance, latency, and resource utilization, and support hardware/software integration in secure lab and customer environments. Operate directly within customer-facing secure environments to maintain technical credibility with National Security stakeholders, highlighting risks and dependencies early. This role strengthens Roke's SIGINT and RF delivery capability within the National Security domain, leveraging our 70-year heritage in sensors, communications, cyber, and AI/ML.
Required Qualifications
- extensive VHDL experience
- OpenCPI expertise
- SDR understanding
- experience operating within secure National Security or MOD environments
- the highest level of UK Government Clearance
