Firmware Engineer (Embedded FW engineer)

Lead design, architecture, and implementation of low-level connectivity firmware and drivers for HP printer platforms, focusing on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and NFC; own integration of connectivity subsystems via SDIO, USB, UART, I2C, SPI; provide deep technical leadership in integration of third-party connectivity modules, including vendor driver stacks and SDKs; drive cross-layer debugging from physical to application layers, secure communications (WPA3, 802.1X, TLS/SSL), and optimize firmware for reliability and performance. Act as the connectivity firmware domain expert, mentor engineers, and collaborate with SoC/module vendors and OS/client teams; require strong C/C++, RTOS/embedded Linux, and networking knowledge (IEEE 802.11, TCP/IP, IPv6) with travel flexibility. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field; typically 7–10+ years of embedded firmware experience.
