Job Summary
Define firmware architecture for next-generation networking devices and lead design of strategic technologies including functional safety, security, and high-performance networking capabilities. Collaborate with Hardware, Software, and System Architecture teams to define end-to-end solutions while mentoring R&D engineers through architecture, design, and implementation. Drive technical direction across multiple teams to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality firmware that enables cloud providers and enterprises to deliver reliable networking solutions.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of firmware or embedded software development experience
- 4+ years of technical leadership experience (Technical Lead, Architect, or Technical Manager)
- Excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with networking protocols and high-performance networking
- Experience developing real-time or embedded systems
- Experience designing large-scale firmware architectures
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with security technologies or safety-critical systems
