Job Summary
The Principal will manage a franchise location, overseeing firm management, client delivery, and business growth while ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The role requires building client relationships, managing operations, and leading teams. Candidates should have 7+ years in accounting or financial services, with strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations, and experience in business development. The position also involves reviewing complex engagements and ensuring client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, advisory, or financial services
- Experience reviewing and signing off on complex engagements
- Solid working knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and accounting standards
- Strong communicator
- Financial oversight skills: budgeting, cash flow, and profitability analysis
- Comfortable with cloud-based accounting platforms
Desired Qualifications
- CPA preferred
- Business development or sales experience
- Experience managing teams including managers or senior staff
- Track record managing client relationships directly
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis area
