Job Summary
Deliver and remove equipment for fireplace installations, then install fireplace units, accessories, and related systems accurately and on time. Handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively while maintaining high satisfaction levels. Prepare material requisition forms to manage truck stock and assist with loading and unloading materials. Requires valid driver's license, clean abstract, and ability to work overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in the construction or HVAC industry
- all valid licensing or certifications as required by provincial or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area
- Prior Sheet Metal Experience
- Experience wiring controls, thermostats, HRV, and furnace
- Must have basic hand tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment
- The ability to perform minor field fabrication as well as work with power tools
- The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required
- Valid Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
- The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria
