Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas fireplace systems in residential settings with in-home service. Perform in-home troubleshooting and repair of gas fireplaces, inserts, and related components using diagnostic tools (manometer, multimeter, leak detection) to identify system issues. Address ignition systems, gas flow, ventilation, thermocouples, valves, pilot assemblies, and electronic controls; execute repairs per manufacturer specifications, safety codes, and company standards. Conduct routine maintenance and performance optimization, document diagnostics and parts used, and communicate findings clearly to customers. Maintain a calm, professional customer experience, uphold COASTROAD’s values, and schedule follow-ups when appropriate. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes; travel within the service area to residential sites; represent the brand with professionalism and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GPA
- Minimum 3 years experience with hand tools
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
