Job Summary
Conduct fire suppression, prevention, and inspection duties while providing emergency medical services on an as-needed, substitute basis. Submit copies of current certifications and written/physical ability test certificates upon request. Requires HS diploma/GED and current minimum certification as Firefighter II and EMT, with Advanced Life Support and DPO/Aerial Ops certifications highly desired. Starting part-time pay is $18.68+/hour, varying by EMT certification level from $19.53 to $22.54. Regional firefighter test completion is preferred. The City of Staunton Fire and Rescue Department is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
