Job Summary
Respond to emergency fire scenes, conduct fire suppression, and operate fire apparatus for search and rescue, ventilation, and salvage operations. Perform fire safety inspections, home safety checks, and pre-fire planning. Collaborate with allied health personnel, public safety agencies, and fellow firefighters. Participate in community programs to maintain company image and establish strong community relations. Requires State issued BOF certification, EMT-P certification, and current ACLS and CPR/AED certification. Part-time schedule with immediate hiring.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Driver's License
- State issued (IL) BOF certification
- State issued or National Registered EMT-P certification
- Current ACLS certification required if applicant is an EMT-P
- Current AHA CPR/AED certification
