Job Summary
Respond to emergency calls, perform fire suppression, and administer advanced emergency medical care to sick and injured patients. Conduct critical patient examinations, assist in rescues from threatening situations, and perform fire prevention and public education as directed. Submit required reports, maintain equipment and buildings, and provide medical training to department personnel. Starting pay ranges from $69,981.50 to $94,922.52 annually for 2912 hours. Applicants must hold a valid MO Paramedic License, CPAT certification, and relevant life support credentials. Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid state driver's license
- American Heart Association Advance Life Support Certification
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Pediatric Life Support Certification
- International Trauma Life Support Certification or Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support Certification
- MO Paramedic License
- Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certification
- MO Fire Fighter I & II certification
