Job Summary
Firefighter Engineer position responsible for operating, maintaining fire apparatus, and performing skilled firefighting and emergency services. Requires high school diploma, firefighter certifications, and EMT certification. Part-time role averaging 29 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years as a certified FF with documented ADO experience preferred
- Firefighter II (IFSAC or ProBoard)
- Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator- Pumper (IFSAC or ProBoard)
- Utah EMT-B or higher
- Valid Utah State Drivers License with Firefighter Endorsement or CDL Class B
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
- IS-100, 200, 700, 800
Desired Qualifications
- Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator - Tender, Aerial, Wildland Interface
- Fire Instructor I Certification
- Two or more years of service with a combination or volunteer fire department
- Pumping operations and water supply experience in non-hydrant (rural) areas
