Job Summary
Conduct fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services as a Firefighter/EMT, integrating with the team starting mid-January after completing the 2027 Spring North Area Fire Academy. Maintain a valid driver's license, current CPR-BLS certification, and a Colorado EMT certificate (or NREMT), while passing the CPAT physical ability test. Submit a complete application package including resume and certification copies by September 2, 2026, followed by virtual interviews, oral board assessments, and medical evaluations leading to a conditional offer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent or higher education
- Current State of Colorado Emergency Medical Technician Certificate or NREMT required for application (Colorado EMT required within 30 days of hire)
- Current CPR - BLS Provider card
- Current (within one year of August 1, 2026) Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certificate OR the District-approved pre-employment physical ability exam
