Firearms Specialist

Job Summary
Educate customers on firearm functionality, safely demonstrate operation, and assist with product selection and ordering. Complete all required local, state, and federal paperwork for firearm sales while maintaining political neutrality. Operate the Point of Sale and DNR licensing systems, receive merchandise, and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local laws to protect the store's FFL status. Build planograms in Sport & Outdoor sections and promote company loyalty initiatives. Requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; 18 years of age or older with firearm sales experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Team Members who handle or sell firearms must be 18 years of age or older
- be able to possess a firearm under the Gun Control Act 18 USC 922(g)
- pass a background check
- be trained on firearms sales and safety
- must comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations with respect to the sale, storage, and safe handling of firearms
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of previous firearm sales or related experience
