Firearms Specialist

Job Summary
Educate customers on firearm functionality by breaking down parts and teaching safe usage while maintaining political neutrality. Assist clients with finding and ordering products, operating the Point of Sale and DNR licensing systems, and completing all required federal, state, and local paperwork. Manage inventory compliance, handle returns and service policies, and build planograms to optimize retail floor flow. Promote company loyalty programs and credit card initiatives. Requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Background check and firearm training are mandatory for all team members handling firearms.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Team Members who handle or sell firearms must be 18 years of age or older
- be able to possess a firearm under the Gun Control Act 18 USC 922(g)
- pass a background check
- be trained on firearms sales and safety
- must comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations with respect to the sale, storage, and safe handling of firearms
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of previous firearm sales or related experience
