Firearms Specialist

Job Summary
Educate customers on firearm functionality, safely demonstrate operation, and recommend products while maintaining political neutrality. Complete all local, state, and federal paperwork for sales, operate the Point of Sale and DNR licensing systems, and manage inventory compliance to protect the store's FFL status. Assist clients with product ordering, build retail floor planograms, and receive merchandise adhering to return policies. Promote the customer loyalty program and credit card initiatives. Requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a preference for 1-2 years of firearm sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Team Members who handle or sell firearms must be 18 years of age or older
- be able to possess a firearm under the Gun Control Act 18 USC 922(g)
- pass a background check
- be trained on firearms sales and safety
- must comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations with respect to the sale, storage, and safe handling of firearms
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of previous firearm sales or related experience
