Job Summary
Firearms Specialist responsible for managing the firearms department, driving profitability through buying, selling, and loaning on firearms, ensuring compliance with ATF guidelines and maintaining store FFL status; duties include evaluating firearm collateral value, merchandising, inventory controls, pricing, training team members on proper handling and transactions involving firearms, completing 4473 forms when present, and meeting or exceeding financial targets while delivering customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of customer service/sales and firearms experience
- Knowledge of federal/state firearms regulations
- Able to pass a criminal and ATF background check and drug test
- Adhere to company policies and ATF regulations
- Experience with 4473s is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
