Job Summary
Firearms Sales Outfitter at Bass Pro Shops Las Vegas (Part-Time) handles counter sales and customer service for Firearms and hunting merchandise. Responsibilities include greeting customers, identifying needs, making product recommendations, promoting programs (including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup), ensuring accurate completion of 4473 forms, maintaining firearm and merchandise knowledge, merchandising and stocking, staying aware of advertised sales, and following all company policies. Requires 0-2 years retail experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and being 21 or older; strong knowledge of firearms regulations and customer service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in Retail
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Experience in Retail at a firearms retailer preferred
- Knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition
- Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations
- Knowledge of GCA (Gun Control Act)
- Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise
- Ability to greet and assist customers
- Ability to demonstrate products
- Ability to complete 4473 forms accurately
- Ability to maintain knowledge of advertised sales and pricing
- Ability to work in a standing/walking role
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with team lift as needed
- Ability to operate store equipment and tools as needed
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
