Job Summary
Firearms Outfitter role at Bass Pro Shops in Utica, NY, full-time. Responsibilities include maintaining counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise, greeting customers, assisting in product selection, promoting programs (CLUB membership, VOC, in-store pickup), ensuring proper completion of 4473 forms, demonstrating products, maintaining organized merchandise displays, staying knowledgeable on firearms and ammunition, and adhering to store policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years retail experience, and being 21 or older. Strong knowledge of firearms regulations (ATF) and customer service skills are needed, with opportunities for benefits including healthcare, 401k, paid holidays and vacations. Starting pay range is $17.00-$19.75 per hour.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition
- Knowledge in ATF Federal and State Regulations
- Customer Service and Sales of Firearms and Ammunition
- GCA
- Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise
- Knowledge of applicable laws and safety policies
