Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and assist with firearm and hunting merchandise sales, including identifying needs and making product recommendations. Complete 4473 Forms accurately and maintain inventory by organizing shelves, replenishing stock, and assisting with seasonal floor moves. Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales, pricing, and signing while promoting club memberships and in-store pickup programs. Ensure the work area stays clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies. Requires a New York State Pistol Permit, high school diploma, and 0-2 years of retail experience. Starting pay is $17.00 - $19.75.
Required Qualifications
- New York State Pistol Permit
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in Retail
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Product knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition
- Knowledge in ATF Federal and State Regulations
- Customer Service and Sales of Firearms and Ammunition
- GCA
- Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more
- Must be able to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
