Job Summary
Firearm Sales Outfitter at Bass Pro Shops: Maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise, greet customers promptly and friendly, identify customer needs, and make product recommendations. Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup. Ensure 4473 forms are completed accurately. Demonstrate products to customers and organize/maintain merchandise at the gun counter. Replenish stock as required, maintain product knowledge through training, stay informed on advertised sales, assist with seasonal floor moves, and uphold company policies. Requires knowledge of firearms and ammunition regulations (ATF/GCA) and strong merchandising and customer-service skills. Part-time position with available employee benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in Retail
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Knowledge and experience product knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition
- Knowledge in ATF Federal and State Regulations
- GCA (Gun Control Act) knowledge
- Customer Service and Sales of Firearms and Ammunition
- Merchandise and stock management
