Fire Truck Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and air systems on fire trucks and ambulances; perform preventative maintenance and repairs; accurately document repairs, labor time, and parts usage; complete safety inspections and ensure vehicles are ready for service; maintain a clean, safe work area in a shop with occasional field or outdoor work; schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. with potential overtime; benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off from day 1, tool allowance, and boot reimbursement; work location in McConnelsville, OH in a clean, compliant shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel mechanic experience, preferably with heavy duty or emergency vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
