Fire Testing Technician

Job Summary
Conduct monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly, annual, and 5 yearly routine maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems, Fire Indicator Panels, and Emergency Warning Systems in accordance with AS1851-2012 and Australian Standards. Liaise directly with clients regarding routine maintenance work and complete service reports, quotations, and compliance documentation accurately. Commit to workplace safety and good work practices while maintaining a customer service focus. Schedule your own work independently with a 38-hour week, earning competitive wages with yearly increases, RDOs, and on-call opportunities. Requires a current Victorian driver's license, understanding of fire alarm systems, and relevant trade qualification or FPAS accreditation.

Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with fire alarm systems and routine testing (preferred but not essential)
- A strong understanding of AS1851 and associated standards, or willingness to learn
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in fire protection systems
- FPAS accreditation (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients
