Job Summary
Fire & Contents Restoration Technician responsibilities include performing all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration (demolition, cleaning, contents handling, equipment setup, pack-outs, debris removal), documenting progress in restoration software, and coordinating with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and project leads to ensure high-quality service. Must operate restoration tools safely, move and clean fire-damaged personal belongings and contents, participate in on-call rotations, and maintain a clean, organized job site with PPE as required. Strong customer service, communication skills, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license are essential. Certification in IICRC FSRT & OCT is a plus or willingness to obtain. Required Qualifications
- Some hands-on experience in fire or smoke damage restoration (residential or commercial)
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive, can-do attitude
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined or challenging spaces, and wear PPE (including respirators) when required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Tech-savvy and able to learn or use mobile devices and job-tracking software
- IICRC FSRT & OCT certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain)
