Job Summary
Fire Suppression Technician responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing, and repairing fire suppression systems (including kitchen hood, clean agent, and dry chemical), ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations; duties include diagnosing issues, maintaining service records, communicating with clients and team, on-call rotations, and traveling to job sites within the service area; requires high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years’ experience preferred, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and ability to work at heights; NICET certification or state license is a plus; location Brooklyn, OH, with company-provided training and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of experience in fire suppression or a related field preferred
- NICET certification or applicable state license is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must reside within a reasonable distance from our Brooklyn, OH location
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-hire background check and drug screen
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds
- Must be able to safely operate company vehicles
- Must be able to work from heights
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize safety
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Regular and reliable attendance
