Job Summary
The Fire Stopping Installer is responsible for reviewing safety regulations on-site, coordinating installation processes, inspecting firewalls according to NFPA code, and documenting code compliance for customers. Candidates should possess basic trade math skills and the ability to communicate professionally and timely with customers. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and construction experience. Physical demands include exposure to weather conditions and working at heights.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Review and learn blueprinting, sketching, perspectives, and terminology
- Dependable transportation for out-of-town travel
- Physical ability to work in various conditions
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least six months of construction experience
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Ability to read measurements off of a blueprint
