Job Summary
Fire Sprinkler Technician responsible for the layout, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of fixed fire protection systems. Interpret blueprints and specifications to select materials, coordinate with Field Supervisor, plan installation sequences to minimize customer impact, and ensure clean, safe job sites. Requires 2+ years of sprinkler install/service experience on Wet/Dry/Pre-action/Deluge systems, ability to read diagrams, use pipe threader/groover, licensing/certifications, NICET certification, and strong customer-service skills. Travel may be required; relocation assistance is provided. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of industry experience in Sprinkler Install and Service on Wet, Dry, Pre-action and Deluge systems
- Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and design specifications
- Experience with trade tools and equipment such as pipe threader and groover
- Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications
- Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer’s Certifications
- NICET certification
- Has practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the last 5 years
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
- Willingness to travel and stay out of town as needed
- Comfortable working in various temperature conditions and exposure to loud sounds
- Fluent in English, effective communication skills
