Fire Sprinkler Technician

Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain fixed fire protection systems; read blueprints for proper installation and maintenance; interpret project specifications and select materials accordingly; organize and prepare materials and equipment for job sites; communicate changes to Field Supervisor; plan installation/repair sequence to minimize disruption to customers; cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate standards; maintain clean, safe job sites; uphold company reputation in all transactions; commit to overtime as needed; complete continuing education to maintain required certifications/licenses; perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of industry experience in Sprinkler Install and Service on Wet, Dry, Pre-action and Deluge systems
- Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and design specifications
- Experience with trade tools and equipment such as pipe threader and groover
- Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications
- NICET certification
- Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer’s Certifications
- Has practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the last 5 years
- Fluent in English, effective communication skills
- Willingness to travel and stay out of town as needed
