Job Summary
Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps. Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications to diagnose and repair equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics and operational manuals. Demonstrate strong customer service, good organization, and the ability to work independently. Minimum 3-5 years of fire sprinkler service experience, High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, ability to travel overnight, and comfortable with physical labor and safety requirements. NICET certification and Backflow certification are a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends) and maintain truck inventory for prompt response.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler service industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements
- Overnight travel may be required
- Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
- Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet
