Job Summary
Fire sprinkler service technician level I responsible for inspection, testing, and service/repair of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25; duties include documenting inspections and repairs, maintaining the vehicle and tools, assessing customer needs for additional equipment/services, and performing on-site/emergency troubleshooting with occasional night/weekend work; requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, travel as needed, and a valid U.S. drivers license. NICET I certification and state licensure are preferred. Training and certification reimbursement are offered, along with overtime opportunities and a safety-focused work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of technical experience with water-based fire protection systems, including CAD drawings and field surveys
- Ability to calculate basic math (fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Knowledge to operate basic computer functions and industry software
- Valid U.S. drivers license
- NICET I Certification in water-based systems (IDEAL QUALITIES)
- State license in the relevant state
