Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. Diagnose deficiencies in fire protection systems and operate hand and power tools, including pipe cutters and threading machines. Coordinate job status updates with office staff and accurately complete service reports, work orders, and documentation. Electronically submit service acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signatures while professionally interacting on-site. Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and work independently with minimal supervision. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to climb overhead or crawl under spaces.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience installing, servicing, testing and maintaining various types of fire sprinkler systems
- Valid Driver's License
- clean driving record
- 3-5 years of sprinkler service experience in the Fire Protection/Life Safety industry
- experience testing and certification of fire detection systems
- performing installations and/or repairs on fire protection systems
- Experience using power and hand tools
- Willingness to achieve various certifications in the industry
