Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman

Job Summary
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems, inspecting, testing, and repairing equipment in strict accordance with applicable codes. Lead 2-3 person crews on customer sites while performing system checks, identifying deficiencies, and providing advanced technical assistance to team members. Complete detailed inspection reports documenting issues and results, and teach trade skills to apprentices and helpers. Maintain company vehicles and warehouse equipment, responding to emergency service calls and adhering to safety procedures. Requires at least five years of experience with fire sprinkler systems, advanced knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25, and a valid driver's license. Flexible scheduling may include evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems
- Advanced working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25
- Experience with commercial and residential systems
- Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment including, but not limited to, impact wrenches, band saws, measuring devices, fitting take-outs, manual lifting devices, grooving machines, threading machines, and powered industrial lifting devices
- Troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend and/or out-of-town assignments
