Fire Sprinkler Inspector

Job Summary
Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company policies. Work independently in the field to verify system integrity, identify deficiencies, and provide accurate documentation for customers and internal teams. Inspect wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems; verify proper operation of water flow, pressure, valves, and alarms; document deficiencies and repair needs; prepare inspection reports; communicate results and recommendations to customers and project managers; coordinate with service technicians for corrective actions; maintain testing equipment and materials; comply with safety policies and quality standards; participate in ongoing training to stay current with codes and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems or working in the fire protection industry
- Knowledge of NFPA 25, building codes, and fire protection systems
- NICET Level II or higher certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems (preferred or ability to obtain)
- Microsoft Office skills
