Job Summary
Field Technician (Inspector) inspecting, testing, and repairing fixed fire protection systems; documenting deficiencies; scheduling inspections; communicating discrepancies to customers and Eagle Fire; maintaining certifications/licenses; reading diagrams/blueprints, and applying codes/standards; must travel as needed and possess NICET certification and relevant fire-sprinkler certifications; requires strong customer service, safety awareness, and ability to work independently in varied temperatures; relocation assistance offered.
Required Qualifications
- NICET certification
- Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer’s Certifications
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Able to travel and stay out of town as needed
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record for last 5 years
- Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
- Able to work in extremely cold and extremely hot temperatures
- Able to operate and efficiently use measuring instruments and gauges and assorted industry-related devices
- English fluently
