Job Summary
Conduct annual, quarterly, three-year, and five-year inspections of fire sprinkler systems, pumps, stand pipes, and associated equipment. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, minor modifications, backflow testing, and fire pump testing while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fire codes. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Read blueprints and technical drawings, utilize cloud-based service management systems, and manage building reports. Maintain NICET Level II and Backflow Testing certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspections
- Licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector
- NICET Level II Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Certified.
- Backflow Testing Certified.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
- Experience with both wet and dry sprinkler systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work with computers, cloud base service management systems, building reports
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sprinkler Technician
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
- Experience with wet and dry sprinkler systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NICET Level II Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Certified.
Desired Qualifications
- FASA/BASA is a plus but not required.
