Job Summary
Field Technician (Inspector) responsible for testing, repairing, and inspecting fixed fire protection systems and their components to ensure proper functionality and to document deficiencies. Must provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities include completing services per manufacturer instructions and codes, scheduling inspections, documenting inspections for company records and authorities, communicating discrepancies and necessary repairs, maintaining certifications/licenses, and adhering to safety policies. Requires 4+ years of industry experience, NICET certification, ability to read diagrams/blueprints/specifications, English fluency, valid driver’s license, physical ability to stand, lift, push/pull, and travel as needed; able to work in extreme temperatures and loud environments; drug-free workplace compliance; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Fire Sprinkler Service/Inspection experience
- NICET certification
- Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for last 5 years
- Able to travel and stay out of town as needed
- Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
- Able to work in extremely cold and extremely hot temperatures
- Able to work while exposed to loud sounds and noise levels
