Job Summary
Field Technician (Inspector) responsible for testing, repairing, and inspecting fixed fire protection systems and their components; documents deficiencies and communicates discrepancies to customers and Eagle Fire; maintains certifications/licenses through continuing education; travel may be required; must interpret diagrams/blueprints/specifications and apply relevant codes and standards; strong customer service and safety awareness essential.
Required Qualifications
- NICET certification
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Fire Sprinkler Service/Inspection experience
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for last 5 years
- Practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work alone
- Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
- Able to travel and stay out of town as needed
- Able to operate and efficiently use measuring instruments and gauges and assorted industry-related devices
