Job Summary

Install, assemble, and trim fire protection systems while reading and interpreting construction blueprints and diagrams. Supervise and guide crew members, providing technical support to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. Drive to job sites in commercial and residential buildings to perform physical tasks including lifting 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools. Submit written job progress reports for assigned projects and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Participate in training sessions and meetings to uphold safety and precision standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office / electronic blueprint systems)
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to train and mentor others
  • Good driving record (MANDATORY)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience installing sprinkler or fire protection systems
  • Blueprint reading experience
  • Up to 100% travel to job sites
  • Multiple locations
  • Field work / On the road
  • Lift at least 50 pounds
  • Climb ladders and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulders, and walking for extended periods
  • Drive to job sites and work at various locations
  • Submit written job progress reports for assigned projects
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members
  • Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
  • Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings
  • Install, assemble, and trim fire protection systems

Desired Qualifications

  • NICET Level I or II
  • Completion of an accredited industry training program
  • OSHA 10, Lift, Tool & CPVC Pipe Certifications
