Job Summary
Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Diagnose system deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks, while accurately completing required documentation and inspection reports. Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members, maintain a clean work environment, and follow all safety procedures. Train and support entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed. Travel to job sites in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician
- FASA/BASA & Water-Based certification
- Must have a clean driving record
- Active driver's license (if driving is required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work in various environments
- Ability to work in heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in active job sites
