Job Summary
Produce design-related documents to ensure the scope of the fire protection system is fully communicated to installation personnel at assigned job sites. Perform design work and direct the work of others as assigned. Maintain a strong understanding of materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in installation and design processes, including NFPA Standards. Utilize HydraCAD and Auto CAD software for design tasks. Requires a minimum of 2 years of fire sprinkler experience with a design/build contractor, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Schedule includes overtime up to 25 hours per week. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of fire sprinkler experience with a design/build fire sprinkler contractor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in the installation and design processes
- working knowledge of NFPA Standards
- Mental stamina and ability to perform laborious and repetitive work for extended hours, including overtime up to 25 hours per week
- Good communication, training, and planning skills
- Sense of pride, integrity, and organizational ability
- Experience with HydraCAD/ Auto CAD software
- valid driver's license
- meet all Insurance Carrier requirements
