Fire Sprinkler Designer

Job Summary
Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects, producing layouts, hydraulic calculations, and material specifications while ensuring NFPA and local-code compliance. Review construction drawings and coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers; prepare design submittals, shop drawings, and permit packages. Collaborate with field personnel to address constructability issues and design changes; maintain accurate documentation and participate in design reviews and quality control checks. Stay current with fire protection standards and industry best practices; proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software; NICET Level II or III preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or degree preferred
- 2-5 years of fire sprinkler design experience; knowledge of NFPA standards; proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit or similar software; ability to interpret construction drawings and project requirements; NICET Level II or III preferred
