Job Summary
Design fire sprinkler systems using HydraCAD and AutoCAD-based AutoSprink; perform on-site field surveys, generate hydraulic calculations, prepare drawings for building permits, 3D BIM coordination with NavisWorks, prepare stock lists, ensure projects adhere to timelines, and prepare project close-out and operation & maintenance documents. Candidates with more experience will handle higher-level projects and mentor Designers with less experience.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in design/drafting-related program
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- AutoSprink experience preferred
- Mathematically and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software and codes
