Fire Shop Associate

Job Summary
Receives, organizes, and stocks parts and products into inventory daily while tracking quantities to coordinate reorders with purchasing. Maintains a clean, safe, and secure shop environment by ensuring walkways are clear and materials are stored properly. Pulls products to support running items to customers and job sites as needed, and assists with inventory counts to maintain accurate field allocation records. May operate a forklift or pallet jack to receive shipments. Requires a valid driver's license, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours a day while lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift, pull and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, fire protection, or maintenance environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and shop equipment
- Ability to read work orders, follow instructions, and complete documentation accurately
- Ability to learn new computer skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
