Job Summary
As a Fire Service Technician III, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm, security, and access control systems, including panel repair and device replacement. You must ensure efficient execution of tasks while demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills. This role requires on-call and after-hours availability as needed, along with the programming of fire protection systems. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, valid CFAA certification, and at least two years of relevant experience. The position demands strong organizational abilities and physical capability to handle equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CFAA Certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with fire alarm systems
- Good working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Capable of performing physical labor (up to 25 lbs)
- Able to work in unusual positions (climbing, crawling, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and specifications
- Bilingual French and English
