Job Summary
Assist with the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial fire alarm, security, surveillance camera, and access control systems. Install and support network and fiber optic cabling while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Test systems to verify proper operation before project completion and maintain accurate documentation including labor, materials, and service records. Learn proper installation techniques and industry best practices from experienced technicians while attending training sessions and technical meetings. Work toward obtaining and maintaining your Ohio Fire Alarm License.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and safety-focused
- Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
