Job Summary
Fire & Security Engineer to maintain and service fire & security systems across technologies including Access Control, Intrusion Protection, Video Surveillance, Door Entry, Audio Alarm Verification, Staff Protection, Public Address, Time & Attendance, and LED Lighting. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service with the Area Supervisor, managing service calls and maintenance visits via PDA software, attending daily calls, taking responsibility for vehicle and stock, joining the callout rota with additional earnings, and working flexibly to meet client demand. Must be based within ~30 minutes of the working area for responsive service and hold the right to work in the UK with SC clearance eligibility. 3+ years in the industry, strong IP networking and electrical principles, and a clean UK driving licence are required. The role offers opportunities to earn through commissions and to refer potential sales opportunities; hybrid remote options are indicated by the posting. Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
- Clean full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
- Experience: At least 3 years in the security systems industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service track record
- Ability to spot and refer potential sales opportunities (commission available)
