Job Summary
Fire & Security Engineer responsible for servicing, maintenance, remedial works and installations across fire detection, emergency lighting, portable extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems across UK sites. You will work on projects of varying size, ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered to high standards, provide customer training and demonstrations, and participate in out-of-hours call-out within a health-and-safety compliant framework. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in the fire and security sector, a full UK driving licence, willingness to travel (including Scotland with occasional overnight stays), and experience with fire detection, emergency lighting, extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. Desirable qualifications include emergency lighting and extinguisher maintenance, FIA Foundation Modules, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Height certifications. The position is field-based with travel between Bristol and Scotland, occasional attendance at the Nottingham Head Office, and accommodation/expenses paid when working away. Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within the fire and security industry, with knowledge of relevant systems and manufacturers
- A full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel throughout Scotland with occasional overnight stays
