Fire & Security Engineer

Job Summary
Provide servicing, maintenance, remedial works, and installations for fire detection systems, emergency lighting, CCTV, and access control across Scotland. Execute large and small installation projects while delivering customer training and system demonstrations. Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota and telephone support schedule, adhering to health and safety requirements and British Standards. This 40-hour field-based regional role includes a company vehicle, phone, tablet, and pension, with accommodation and expenses paid when working away. Occasional overnight stays and travel throughout Scotland are required.
Required Qualifications
- Reside within Scotland's Central Belt or surrounding areas
- Confident in technical ability
- Enjoy working across a variety of sites
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within the fire and security industry
- Knowledge of relevant systems and manufacturers
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Commitment to delivering high standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout Scotland with occasional overnight stays
- Experience working with fire detection systems

- Experience working with intruder alarms
