Job Summary
Installations and Services Sales Manager leading Fire Construction and Owner/Core sales teams; responsible for setting strategy, developing sales for new construction, plan and specification retrofit and owner sales for fire projects within assigned markets; direct leadership to Electronic Life Safety Systems and Service Sellers; drive strategic selling in construction and owner environments; develop market potential, key projects, and wallet share; build and expand owner/end-user relationships; mentor/coach sales teams, align with Area GM and other sales leaders, and coordinate with policy, pricing, and marketing efforts; grow recurring service revenue and expand into additional service spaces while maintaining profitable pricing and strong customer relationships; collaborate to achieve sales targets and drive business plans for the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Required College Degree in Business, or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience in the Fire Safety industry
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience, including 3 years of field sales management experience in a business to business environment, or successful management of another sales channel
- Demonstrated skills, ability and comfort managing a high volume/transaction sales team
- Construction Industry and owner relationship development experience
- Able to create and develop solutions to customer needs while meeting objectives
- Eye for business
- Excellent communication and team building skills with a strong understanding of inter-departmental relations
